Hi! My name is Katrina (Katy) Fairlee. Austin’s local music scene sparked my interest in the audio world. I learned the foundations of music engineering through the Austin Community College music program and interned at ChurchHouse Studios in East Austin. My curiosity for acoustic environments led me to the film industry, where I currently work as a production sound mixer and supervisor.
I am a member of the local IATSE 484 and have a decade of experience recording audio for a variety of different formats. My resume includes commercial, reality, scripted/narrative, and documentary.
I customize sound packages tailored specifically for each production’s needs and constantly add to my inventory to accommodate projects of any size.
